2024 Vintage Festival

Cox/CMR Framed Yamaha FJ1250 with Colin Edwards
The VRRA Vintage Festival returns for a flat-out celebration of vintage two-wheeled racing at the legendary Canadian Tire Motorsports Park (Mosport) circuit and this year, the VRRA will be hosting a very special event with a special invitational class for Formula TT and Philip Island bikes from across North America.
Formula TT was the precursor to World Super Bike. The first championship winner was Mike Hailwood but the series attracted many World and National champions including Graham Crosby, Joey Dunlop, Wes Cooley, Mick Grant, and Ron Haslem as they battled at the Isle of Man TT, Daytona 200, Dutch TT, and the Ulster Grand Prix with Honda and Ducati pitted head to head against Pops Yoshimura Suzuki’s in custom racing chassis.
Today the tradition continues at venues like Philip Island and the Manx Grand Prix with current riders including Michael Dunlop and past AMA and MotoGP champions like Colin Edwards, Jason Pridmore and Josh Hayes getting to grips with these beasts.
This class is being hosted for the first time in North America and will only be at Canadian Tire Motorsports Park. The VRRA will have several of the bikes and riders that actually competed for Team USA at Philip Island, and specially invited ex AMA and CSBK competitors. This will be the only opportunity to see these in North America and is not to be missed.
Philip Island – 2019
In addition to the Philip Island classes, the VRRA is also running a full program with three days of racing, starting at 3:00 pm on Friday Afternoon with a 2 hour Endurance Race and continuing on Saturday and Sunday with 12 races each day featuring bikes built from 1930 to 2002. But that’s not all… don’t miss the CVMG concourse display and swap meet, and live music and entertainment on Saturday evening until late. Camping and pit access is free with a ticket purchase, and children under 12 are also admitted free.
The CTMP Venue

Canadian Tire Motorsports Park (formerly Mosport) is one of the world’s most iconic sporting venues. It is the site of the only Canadian round of the MotoGP world championship and continues to host some of the most prestigious motorsport events in Canada. The Ontario circuit is visited by a huge variety of championships on both two and four wheels and most notably for motorcycles, CSBK and the VRRA that race the full Grand Prix Circuit every August.
Beloved by fans, spectators regularly camp out for the whole weekend creating a festival atmosphere. CTMP sits within a natural amphitheatre to offer dramatic views of some of the sport’s most iconic corners including the Clayton Corner, Quebec Corner and, of course, Moss’s.
