Postby thelittleguy » Fri Feb 07, 2020 11:38 am

Anyone got any good leads on motorcycle ins in Ontario
I’m with intact and they are making me bend over to take it up the hoop
And I’ve been with them for yrs Aviva can’t do any better
Any ideas
Cheers

I'm with Wawanesa
Decent rate if you're outside the GTA and they do non standard VINs

tD quoted $1600 for me a 62 yr old on a Mv-Agusta-Brutalie
My current ins intact is $980 I called a couple of others and they were double what I now pay
So I called intact again to complain that a guy with eons of experience with a clean licence has to take it up the hoop
He said if I apply as a new client he can shave $250 off the price so basically if you are a loyal client as I have been with them for ten yrs you get fakked over
Doesn’t seem right somehow

I hear Ya! I am paying just over $1000 a year on a 2015 FZ 09 with 39 years of experience with Wawanesa and that is the cheapest I could find. I wonder if we could organize a VRRA CMVG RACE etc group rate ?

I think if you mention that you ride on the racetrack, they'll double it ...

I'm with Wawanesa too! Only company that was reasonable
I specialize in Kawasaki air cooled 4 strokes from the seventies and early eighties 550-1100 .I also network with others and can search for parts on your behalf .

I just got insurance on my Ducati Hypemotard with The Personal Insurance Company they are a sister company of Desgardan and will insure you if you belong to a certain group. I saved $400 compared to other Quotes Wawanesa would not even touch the Ducati because it is a Motard

That’s my problem Wilf
There isn’t a group that will have me anymore lol
$650 fully comprehensive with collision for my MV Augusta
Just bought an Aprilia tuono so I will have to see what that cost too

$650 is not bad it must be because they have your house and cars. Wawanesa was charging me just over $1000 full coverage on my 2008 Yamaha FZ 09 with 39 years riding experience

Trouble is John
300k isn’t enough liability for that state
Thought about taking one of my bikes down but where we are in Palm Harbor
The roads are really boring
You still have your place in Daytona ?
We should meet up down there one winter
