WTB - Yamaha RD350/250 LC Seat or Seat Pan

May be a bit of a long shot but does anyone have a 80-82 Yamaha RD350 LC or RD250 LC Seat? My seat pan keeps cracking and its now at this stage where it probably has more plastic weld that original plastic. I think it turned brittle as it was left in the sun for years. Don't care about the cover as ...

Re: 2019 Handicap Formula for Discussion

Kirby.

Where would P4 Early fit in. Would it just slot into the respective P4-F2 and P4-F1 groups?

Re: Dyno east side of TO?

I believe Gator sold the dyno to a guy in Newmarket after Ken set up his own shop. I phoned him but he wasn’t keen about messing around with Carbs and Jets

I know Brooklin Cycle on Brock Road in Pickering (south of the 401) have one but I have never used them

Re: Aluminum Tank Dent Removal

Dean.

I know Denis Curtis at CMR builds aluminum tanks. He may also repair them but I'm not sure.

Re: Exhaust help

Another +1 for Denis and Byron. They did CB350 pipes and expansion chambers for me. Great work

Re: 18 inch race tires???

Brian, I have been running the Contis on my RZ and love them. They do suck in the wet, but that isn't a surprise, they pretty much look like a cut slick. They also stand up to the coarseness of Calibogie pavement that eats up other tires in the 18" range. I bought them from a VRRA member and a...

Re: 18 inch race tires???

Thanks Todd. That's a good place to start. Its actually for a P3 bike so I think radials - even slicks - are allowed. I'm also thinking about just biting the bullet and doing a 17" conversion although they look horrible and IMHO are not period correct, but I don't think the tire problem will ge...

Re: 18 inch race tires???

I can't even find anyone in the US to ship Conti's to Canada as they claim they are not allowed and their 130 is a really strange shape. It won't really fit on a 2.5" rim Maybe if there was enough people interested we could place a bulk order with a dealer in the US. I don't mind driving down a...

18 inch race tires???

What are people doing for 18" race tires?

I just spoke with parts Canada and they told me that Avon had ended production of the AM22 and AM23 so they wouldn't be getting any more in. Is it time to just bite the bullet and do a 17" conversion?

Thanks

Re: Expansion chambers for RD350LC

Thanks Justin. I'll do a search on Jaws. I did talk to Glyn as he made my pipes for the RZ but it seems his marine business is just crazy at the moment and its now 12 months a year as he is also doing a lot of business in Miami so he didn't really have time to make a set. Working in Miami in January...

Expansion chambers for RD350LC

I'm thinking about bringing my RD350LC out again next year but need to get a set of pipes made. The original cylinders were ported by Stan Stephens and I also have a set of TZ700 Cylinders that would also bolt on so I have a couple of choices. I need someone that could build something to match the p...
